WHAT TO CONSIDER WHEN GOING TO CYPRUS

You cannot travel  without your identity card or passport.

 Documents such as driver’s license and similar documents are not valid for the flight.

 -The identity card must have a chip,

  – Not older than 10 years

 -Name and picture must be clearly visible,

– Must not be torn and frayed

– If you are coming with a child under 2 years old , your child’s ID card must have a photo,

– If flying with a passport, a fee stamp must be obtained.

-You must not have any prohibition for leaving the country.

(tax debt, legal problems, lawsuit, etc.)

 -Your phones must be switched on abroad. If it is not open, you need to call the customer service of your operator and have it opened.

-When you enter Cyprus, the system called international roaming is activated on your phone line.

During the time you are abroad, incoming calls will be charged to your invoice as if you made a call abroad.

-You must go to the airport 2 hours before Departure

Because, situations such as long flight procedures abroad, passenger demands, etc. may cause loss of time. Therefore

you may risk missing your flight.

You must enter the airport from the “International Departures” section. When you enter, you should find the counter (counter) of your flight company (flycyprus airlines, Pegasus, Turkish Airlines… etc.) and make your check in

You must deliver your suitcase in this section,according to the flight rules of the airline company, the weight of your suitcase must comply with the weight rules specified on your ticket  (15 kg – 20 kg – 30 kg per ticket.) Otherwise, you will be charged an extra fee for each kilo.

After receiving your boarding pass, you will need to go through police control. In the area where the police booths are located, you must show your ID and boarding pass to the police.

After you have received permission to pass, you must find the “gate number” on your boarding pass. This is the gate number from which you will board the plane.

Things to keep in mind;

-Civil servants working in Turkey may need written permission from the institution they work for. It should be noted that it may take between 3-10 days to obtain permission. In addition, the permits should be organized to cover the treatment process.
